We had the pleasure of creating a captivating film for Cromlix Hotel in Scotland, featuring Executive Chef Darin Campbell. The film delves into the ethos of the Glasshouse restaurant at the hotel, emphasising the importance of sourcing fresh, local ingredients for culinary excellence.
Chef Darin Campbell shares the kitchen’s philosophy of creating simple yet exceptional dishes, sourcing ingredients from within the hotel’s grounds whenever possible. Local fish, sourced from nearby waters and Fife, as well as potatoes and beef from neighbouring farms, which underscores the commitment to quality and locality.
The film showcases a mushroom foraging trip on the estate, where Chef Darin and hotel owner Kim Murray explore the grounds together in search of hedgehog mushrooms. Their discovery adds an exciting dimension to the culinary experience, highlighting the delight in finding fresh, wild ingredients.
Shot as part of a series of three films created for Cromlix in September 2023, this project was filmed over just two days on location in Dunblane. The footage captured showcases the exceptional level of hospitality that Cromlix Hotel is renowned for. The film also celebrates Cromlix’s unique culinary journey, highlighting the hotel’s ability to create exceptional dishes that reflect the abundance and quality of Scotland’s natural bounty. The resulting high-quality content has been effectively utilised to promote the hotel’s unparalleled service and luxurious experience on its website and across all social media channels.
