Choice Support is a provider of social care, helping it’s service users to live more independent and fulfilling lives. In 2012, Helen Hopkinson was put forward by the charity to take part in the Olympic torch relay in the lead up to the games. Helen has Asberger’s Syndrome, and for much of her adult life has campaigned tirelessly to raise awareness of this condition and help raise funds through her various adventurous fundraising activities. This film celebrates Helen’s achievements and captures her moment of glory as she carries the Olympic torch through the village of Darley Dale.
