In partnership with Maia Films, we undertook the task of creating 15 short films for the London Garden Trust during the early summer of 2021. These films were a pivotal component of an online livestream event, offering viewers an exclusive glimpse into London’s hidden gardens, typically inaccessible to the public.
At the heart of our project lies Core Landscapes, an organisation dedicated to revitalising vacant urban spaces into vibrant community hubs. Through horticulture, design, workshops, training, and events, Core Landscapes fosters community engagement while enhancing physical and mental wellbeing, as well as promoting community cohesion.
This particular video is part of a comprehensive series of 15 short films meticulously crafted by our Managing Director, Steve Milton, for the London Gardens Trust’s annual event, “London Open Garden Weekend.” The event transitioned to an online format in 2020 amidst the pandemic, necessitating the screening of these films virtually. Each film offers a captivating exploration of London’s green sanctuaries, inviting audiences to discover the hidden beauty nestled within the city’s landscapes.
